Our Newest Rescue:Baby Luna
LUNA, a 9-month-old fearless girl
She was found tied up to a tree under the giant Blue Moon on August 31st, 2023. This little baby girl has experienced some intense moments of suffering in her short life by being tied up with a crude line, deeply wounding her legs and leaving her with serious injuries. Her petite little legs are severely wounded. Due to these extreme circumstances of abuse and neglect, Luna has been deeply traumatized and reflects this trauma by withdrawing.
Underfed, weak and timid, we transported her to the sanctuary where she has been tended to with care and an abundance of supplements and nutritional support. She has now become a spunky part of the herd in less than one month and has integrated the herd that took her in right away. Much gratitude to all the ranch friends who made this rescue possible.
