LOS SAGRADOS means ¨The Sacred Ones¨
Committed to helping unwanted, neglected, and abandoned and at risk-horses rise to their full potential in Baja Sur. Our Ranch is a retreat sanctuary for transformation, creating healthy support and compassion for the animals. In turn, their stories help humans heal and the exchange creates awareness about the humane treatment of large animals in our community.
Our goal is to foster a safe space for these rescues to recover, heal and find their highest destiny.
Our Philosophy…
RESCUE
We serve as one of the only organizations actively responding to calls about injured and at risk donkeys in the area. We have provided temporary or permanent housing for over 200 animals since 2018
REHAB
Whether serving as an interim sanctuary or long term care, we pride ourselves on the compassion and care we give to all animals who cross out paths. Once food, water and shelter are no longer a challenge, true healing begins
RISE
In turn, our herd gives back to the community and visitors alike through our healing retreats and children empowerment programs. These exchanges of stories, experiences and awareness, help us heal and create awareness about the humane treatment of animals locally
